This is a very popular site with useful information about social media, digital, technology and e-culture. The site includes simple user guides to popular platforms such as Facebook. This is the place to get the latest updates and you can also follow them on Twitter to get around the clock feeds as they tweet very often. Mashable’s site includes a job board and the company is the creator of special industry events that are open to the public.

Monocle
This is an extension of Monocle Magazine that covers global issues such as politics, urban living, design and entrepreneurial projects. The site offers deeper thinking about the way we live across the world along with a taste of cultural and design offerings from big cities and places you have never heard about. The type of content on the site is varied and includes videos, stories and access to Monocle’s radio station that offers a diverse range of programs that we recommend you check.

Wikipedia
This is a contemporary version of the encyclopedia books that were in use years ago. Offered for free, this tool provide a quick reference guide to almost anything. The pages are built collaboratively by various contributors and are updated regularly. It is estimated that there are over 80,000 people who write for Wikipedia and that there are over 19 million articles available. Some argue that the openness of Wikipedia makes the information unreliable. Another issue is that because the articles’ authors are not credited it is hard to judge the accuracy or bias of the information, although they include their sources.  In spite of the criticism, Wikipedia is the sixth most visited website in the world.

This website displays a range of local hosts around the world who offer a homemade dinner at their place for a small group of people. It is a great opportunity to explore different cuisines, meet new people and be introduced to various cities. You can choose the location of the meal, the food, the style and budget that appeals to you. To take some safety steps you can read reviews about hosts prior to your booking. A useful website that can save you money with frequently updated special deals on various products and services. The idea is similar to the old coupons we used to cut from the newspaper, but in this case we are talking about 50 to 90 percent off the normal price.
The first big difference between a normal coupon and a Groupon is that you buy the coupon from the site in advance and that you will only get the deal if x other people click the “Buy” button. Deals are generally only available for a limited time, and also include expiration dates. Make sure that you read the fine print before you purchase your Groupon.
